We’re excited to welcome the newest cohort of Hauʻoli Mau Loa Fellows at the University of Hawaiʻi at Hilo and the University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa. Over the next two academic years, these eight outstanding graduate students will receive a tuition waiver, stipend, and funding for research supplies, educational expenses, and professional development.
With their selection, the Fellows join a growing network of 108 current and past recipients who have benefited from this graduate assistantship program since it began in 2012. Together, they represent a thriving community of emerging environmental leaders shaping Hawaiʻi’s future.
Graduate assistantships are offered annually through the Foundation’s Environmental Leadership Pathways initiative, supporting students committed to caring for the lands and waters that sustain our island home.
