VIDEO: "Reflections on Building a Strong Foundation" (November 2021)

On November 4, 2021, due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, the Foundation decided, for the second time, to hold its All Partner Pau Hana virtually. The theme for the event was Hoʻopaepae – to build a strong foundation. The highlight of the evening was a panel discussion with Founding Directors, Hans Bertram-Nothnagel and Wayne Pitluck, and moderated by Board Member Kylee Mar. Together, Hans and Wayne were able to set a firm foundation to ensure the long-term success of Hau’oli Mau Loa Foundation, providing future Board and staff a solid base to build upon. Having completed their tenure on the Board, Hans and Wayne were asked to reflect on the past and share their advice and manaʻo with Partners on setting the foundation for their own organizations.
